I didn't even know you were allowed in these places!

My precious touring buddy
Undercover picture inside the most important Russian Orthodox cathedral in Russia. The frescos!
Ivan IV's belltower
Hey Mom! I'm inside the Kremlin!
The tallest spire inside St. Basil's. I can't get over seeing that building.
I'll miss these lazy 11pm sunsets
For 200 rubles, ($7) we got to explore all of the churches inside the Kremlin walls and St Basil's catheral. It was surreal to see and touch so much history in such a brief time; to walk past Putin's seat of power, the Senate, to touch the tomb if Ivan the Terrible, to take in a orthodox service (acoustics. accapella. hay on the floor. heat. candles. incense. monotone reading of rites), to learn the meaning of the icons, and on and on. It still gets me that I am living in Russia. I am so thankful.
