outpourings

i know words are bottled up in here and as soon as i give them a chance to come, they will flow. many things have happened and i've been through some waters and i'm standing here now, sitting really, drenched in the abundant goodness of my god.

thankful for:
jesus christ
my spiritual growth.

my family. especially the wisdom of my father and rebekah's miracle child.

this room for quiet.

that sofa chair and mornings for prayer.

women in my life who show me daily god's steadfast love.

my brother's presence in my life. seconds away.

pages written and turned in.

a wealth of relationships.

two fantastic jobs that challenge and grow me.

unexpected and unrequested gifts.

knowing satisfaction in christ.

just enough respite when needed.

opening ears to the gospel.

i am privileged and incredibly blessed. god has given me every good gift and never withheld a single thing i needed.

and i guess the words inside were really just an outpouring of thankful joy. i spend these days so grateful.
