sometimes i think,
maybe i only believe in god's goodness so completely because i haven't experience the dark pain that more doubting souls have.
but then. no need to make excuses for my own shattering experiences, because i've had many. enough of them to know the dark of black-robed, fearful Pain.
i believe in the sovereign will and goodness of my creator only because i know his heart.
i see some of the great script of universe, while doubters see only the scene playing out before them.
to see tragedy- and yet view it as blessing- requires a perspective impossible for human sight as dim as my own.
it is as if god hands me corrective lens, puts them in front of my eyes- and the fuzzy becomes clear.
this, which looks like bad is actually grace! but i wouldn't know that, except for knowing the character of the orchestrator of all these events.
his vision, his eyesight, is what allows me to
hold on, so firmly.
and so i know, i believe, i rest- knowing God works all things for my own spiritual good.

ah yes. its a story. the page we're on only makes sense with a beginning and an end. No wonder its so confusing...we just aren't looking at the whole story.
