favorite memories

Fall is in full-tilt right now; the leaves aflmae with color, the light seems aglow with tints of honey and orange. I'm so thankful for the seasons, especially the transitions into new ones.

Looking back, I remember with joy...

-camping with Maggie and Will right at the dawn of fall.

-a Baltimore weekend with Kyle; good food, rich conversation, and true rest.

-times like mid-day yesterday to sit quietly in a beautiful place and soak in and observe beauty.

-a weekend in Virginia Beach with dear friends; lots of growth and learning at CCEF.

-nights in Howard's dorms bonding with sweet students.

-learning that reconciliation and honesty in marriage has no limits.

-learning to make bread.

-chatting with far-away friends through Marco Polo.

-birthday dinner with DC family and the Reins.
